The legendary Willie Nelson has cancelled two scheduled performances for this weekend, citing a recent illness in a public statement addressing the situation. Nelson, who is 83 years old, continues to actively tour with his iconic catalog of country-western music.

Fortunately, it seems that the illness won’t be keeping Nelson down for long, as he’s scheduled to return to the road next week for tour dates from February 1st through the 4th. You can read Nelson’s statement below.

We regret to inform fans that Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29 performances of Willie Nelson & Family: Vegas On My Mind have been cancelled due to recent illness and will not be rescheduled. Performances on February 1, 3 and 4 are still scheduled to take place.

Ticket holders for the cancelled performances can contact their point of purchase for a refund.

You may purchase tickets for the three remaining performances of Willie Nelson & Family: Vegas On My Mind (subject to availability). Tickets may be purchased in person at any Venetian/Palazzo box office, by phone at 866-641-7469, or online at www.thevenetian.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
