The last day of Summer Camp Music Festival brought even more big names in the jam scene to patrons at Three Sisters Park. With an influx of people that came for Sunday only, fans were treated to great music all day long.

After two nights of performances, Umphrey’s McGee had a daytime set that featured a raging “August.” Railroad Earth brought their flavor of Americana to the main stage. Surprisingly, they were without their jack-of-all-trades member Andy Goessling. They did have keyboardist Matt Slocum play with them, perhaps in his stead. It was unique hearing RRE with keyboard parts. The highlight of their set was undoubtedly the debut of their cover of “Melissa.” The nods to Gregg Allman thus continued.

In what was one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend, Phish frontman Trey Anastasio brought his eclectic stylings with his all-star band. Over the past four years, TAB and Summer Camp have an association of disastrous weather. A few years ago, his set was canceled mid-set due to thunderstorms. This year, TAB played two great sets in absolutely gorgeous weather, opening with a funky “Gotta Jibboo” that many Phish fans appreciated. Other staples included “Mozambique,” “Soul Rebel,” “Cayman Review,” and a sensational cover of “Clint Eastwood” by the Gorillaz, featuring Jen Hartswick on vocals. The band also debuted a cover of “Midnight Rider” in honor of Gregg Allman.

Another very hyped set came from the Disco Biscuits. Not having played at Summer Camp since 2006, they were long overdue. Except for the “Story of the World” opener, their set was basically one long “Basis for a Day” sandwich. True to their style, they played their set straight through, segueing from one song to the next for the entirety of the seventy-five minutes. The peak of the jams was the epic “Tricycle” in the middle of the set.

As per Summer Camp tradition, moe. closed out the festival. Playing two sets at the Moonshine Stage, they absolutely crushed it. Donning their white outfits from the previous night, they played tunes from all ages of their decade-spanning career. They even brought out Yonder Mountain violin player Allie Kral to help them out for a good jam session.
