Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh kicked off an exciting three night stand at the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas last night, playing with an extraordinary cast of characters for the performance. Joining Lesh was John Kadlecik, Stanley Jordan, Jason Crosby, John Molo and Boyd Tinsley, each bringing their own brand to the Grateful fusion. Additional sit-ins from Grahame Lesh and Alex Koford only added to the mayhem in Sin City.

The band played a number of covers in the second set, including Bob Dylan’s “All Along The Watchtower,” Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven,” The Beatles’ “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds,” and Harold Arlen/E.Y. Harburg’s “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”
