Eddie Vedder performed at the annual Hot Stove Cool Music benefit concert last night at Boston’s Paradise Club, benefiting the Foundation to Be Named Later association. The Pearl Jam frontman headlined the music and sports event with a fun mix of originals and covers, including tracks by the Talking Heads, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springstein, Neil Young, The Who, and more. The band included members of Letters to Cleo, Buffalo Tom, and Belly.

The night began with a trio of Pearl Jam songs, “Corduroy,” “Not For You,” and “Elderly Woman,” much to the delight of the PJ fans in the room. The song choice throughout the night remained familiar, as Vedder played through two Who songs, “The Kids Are Alright” and “I Can’t Explain,” the Talking Heads’ “Love > Building on Fire,” the Rolling Stones’ “Waiting on a Friend,” and Squeeze’s “Another Nail in my Heart,” according to Rolling Stone.

The evening also included some covers that make frequent appearances on PJ setlists, like Bruce Springstein’s “Bobby Jean,” Neil Young’s “Rockin in the Free World.” and “Pink Floyd,” RS reports.
