Renowned saxophonist Branford Marsalis has been making his presence felt on the current Dave Matthews Band tour. The regular performer in the scene has stopped by the band’s jams twice so far, and last night in Tampa, FL was his third guest appearance on this summer tour.
Marsalis came out during “Lover Lay Down” in the second set, and stayed through “Jimi Thing” and “Typical Situation”. “Jimi Thing” also included trumpet work from Carl Fischer. Check out fan-shot footage of “Lover Lay Down” below:
