Bob Weir took to social media on Monday to announce a new weekly live stream series, Weir Wednesdays. Every Wednesday night, Nugs.tv will broadcast archival Bob Weir and Wolf Bros shows for free on both the Nugs.tv website and Weir’s Facebook page.

The new, weekly live stream series will begin this Wednesday, April 8th at 8:00 p.m., with an airing of the November 10th, 2018 show which saw the Grateful Dead guitarist, bassist Don Was, and drummer Jay Lane perform a two-set show at Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre with help from special guest, Warren Haynes. Visit nugs.tv’s website or Weir’s Facebook to watch.

Furthermore, in his Facebook post, Weir compelled fans to donate, if able, to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund here, in lieu of paying for the weekly streams. As most everyone is aware by now, the entire music industry has faced a virtual shutdown amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as governments around the world implement social distancing and self-quarantine guidelines.
