Umphrey’s McGee and The Disco Biscuits will intertwine summer tours this summer with a number of joint shows. The two bands announced respective summer schedules which feature eight overlapping dates.
The joint tour begins on June 9th at the new Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, CT. The two bands will stick together for shows in Baltimore, MD (6/10); Portland, ME (6/11); and Essex Junction, VT (6/12). The Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s McGee will then part ways, during which time the latter will head west for its Peak Summer run with shows at Dillon Amphitheater, Red Rocks, and Gerald R. Ford Amphitheatre with special guests lespecial and Andy Frasco & The U.N. (6/16–19).

Following a brief break, Umphrey’s McGee will stage newly announced July shows in New York, Delaware, North Carolina, and New Jersey. Umphrey’s McGee will also perform a number of festival dates during this stretch, including Levitate (7/9) and The Werk Out (7/16). UM and The Biscuits will link up again in mid-August for concerts in Indianapolis, IN (8/18) and Maryland Heights, MO (8/19) before closing out their joint venture with a two-night stand at The Caverns Amphitheater in Pelham, TN (8/20, 8/21).

This joint tour announcement comes nearly 15 years after Umphrey’s and The Biscuits first joined forces for the D.U.M.B. Tour. In summer 2007, the two then-budding bands linked up for a five-night run that began on June 27th at the Charlottesville Pavillion in Virginia. The two groups also frequently perform alongside one another at Holidaze.
