Charley Crockett traveled to The Elm in Bozeman, MT on Saturday for a weekend stop on the Jukebox Charley tour. This show arrived just days ahead of the singer-songwriter’s new album, Lil’ G.L. Presents: Jukebox Charley, out on April 22nd via his Son of Davy imprint on Thirty Tigers.
Jukebox Charley marks the fourth installment of Crockett’s Lil’ G.L. Presents cover series. The album hears the country revivalist pay tribute to his early inspirations including Willie Nelson, Tom T. Hall, George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, and more. Crockett announced the album last month with a cover of Jerry Reed‘s “I Feel For You“.
“I’ve done a few Lil’ G.L. records now,” Crockett said. “This Jukebox Charley LP makes four. I wanted to really stretch out on this one and take some chances. Do something different. We took some risks and laid down a lot of lesser known, more adventurous classics. Hope folks pick up what I’m puttin’ down.”

Crockett still has a number of Jukebox Charley tour dates before he plays a set at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA on April 29th. After that, he will join up on Willie Nelson‘s traveling Outlaw Festival for select dates throughout the summer. Crockett was also just added on as support for Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit‘s July 1st show at Ozarks Amphitheater in Camdenton, MO. For tickets and a full list of tour dates click here.
