Jason Isbell will leave The 400 Unit at home in spring 2025 for a rare tour of solo acoustic concerts. Billed as An Intimate Evening with Jason Isbell, the run of 15 shows will see the eight-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter perform stripped-down selections from his celebrated catalog.

The tour of intimate evenings will kick off on February 15th at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre and run through March 29th when it wraps at Atlanta’s Fox Theater. Along the way, Isbell will visit historic venues including Ithica, NY’s State Theatre (2/16), Rhode Island’s Providence Performing Arts Center (2/18), two nights at New York’s Beacon Theatre (2/21–2/22), another pair of shows at Washington, D.C.’s Warner Theatre (2/28–3/1), and a couple California shows at Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Hall (3/14) and Santa Barbara’s Arlington Theatre (3/15). The focal point of the tour, however, will be a four-night stay at the newly-christened The Pinnacle in Isbell’s adopted Nashville hometown (3/20–3/22, 3/28–3/29).

Tickets for the new Jason Isbell solo acoustic tour dates go on sale Friday, October 25th at 10 a.m. local time via Isbell’s website. Tickets for the Los Angeles show are already on sale. See below for a detailed list of dates.

This announcement comes on the heels of Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit’s annual eight-night Ryman Auditorium residency. To celebrate his 2024 return to the Mother Church of Country Music, Isbell released Live From the Ryman, Vol. 2 culled from four of the last six years of sold-out concerts at the storied venue. The 15-track album leans heavily on Isbell and the Unit’s last two studio releases, particularly 2023’s “Best Americana Album” Grammy-winnerWeathervanes. Prior to the solo tour, Isbell and his longtime backing band will finish 2024 with a European tour set to kick off next month in Oslo. Find tickets and a full list of tour dates here.
