After six years away, Campout For The Cause will return to Colorado in 2025 with Elephant Revival, Moontricks, and more. The restorative music and yoga festival will make its debut at the bucolic Hutchinson Ranch at the base of the Sawatch Range in Salid, CO on September 19th and 20th, with a welcome picnic on Thursday, September 18th.

Gone Gone BeyondLindsay Lou, and Clay Street Unit will also top the lineup for the first Campout For The Cause since 2019. The festival will welcome rotating supergroup WinderWonderWomen, roots-reggae fusion act Bonfire Dub, acoustic Grateful Dead tribute Pickin’ On The Dead, Blegiun-Dutch singer-songwriter Ramona, indie-soul band Mama Magnolia, roots duo LVDY, progressive bluegrass quartet Magoo, slamgrass heir Silas Herman & The Tone Unit, and more. Campout For The Cause will host 15 bands across two stages, in addition to local food trucks, a Yoga Barn, creekside workshops, and wellness activities.

“Campout was created along the Colorado River following the destructive fire at State Bridge Lodge,” Bonfire Entertainment founder Scotty Stoughton recalled. “Many of us lost a timeless meeting place, a home to play music, camp, bang the drums around the campfire, and share stories. From the ashes grew Campout For The Cause.”

Campout For The Cause founder Bonfire Entertainment will return to helm the festival in 2025, adding to the company’s cache of immersive festivals alongside WinterWonderGrass, BajaWonderGrass, and RiverWonderGrass. The family-friendly event has partnered with Colorado’s Coletrain Music Academy to offer lessons and group jams led by on-site instructors. Attendees of all skill levels are invited to join these interactive sessions for a chance to learn, grow, and collaborate with fellow music lovers.

Of the festival’s new site at Hutchinson Ranch, Stoughton shared, “our new home feels like a long lost outpost on our journey west. The seven-generation Hutchinson Ranch needs our help to keep their open spaces open, as Salida’s strong agricultural roots are being challenged by development.”

This year’s festival will support the Hutchinson Ranch, Guidestone ColoradoChildren’s Discovery Ranch, and the Colorado Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Association (COTBDAA).
