With nature, comes beauty. Such is the case for The Gorge Amphitheater, nestled deep in the mountainous heavens of George, Washington state, and the home to scenic routes, wild animals, live music, and rainbows. When adding your favorite band to the illustrious mix, the experience becomes indescribably breathtaking and holds potential for creating some of the best memories on the planet.

This past weekend, the mighty Phish took over the fabled venue for two nights (videos here); welcoming over 20,000 fellow phriends near-and-far to witness the beauty of the place. With a strong Tweezer-induced first night, and a slower, yet powerful Tweeprise-enhanced closer, the two nights at The Gorge proved well worth the travel for all those in attendance. With The Gorge as your background, it’s difficult to feel anything but lucky. Dead & Company will also be making their debut next weekend on 7/23, which will inevitably bring a similarly spiritual vibe to the already magical space.
