Pitchfork Music Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in style in Chicago’s beautiful Union Park over July 17-19. Blistering heat and a downpour on Saturday could not stop the sold out crowd from enjoying the weekend of music.

Friday night’s set featured the psychedelic melodies of Panda Bear, the robust anthems of CHVRCHES, and a hometown set from Wilco consisting of their entire new album along with old favorites. Early Saturday was highlighted by a rocking show from Bully before the rain chased everyone out. Upon returning, both The New Pornographers and the reunited Sleater-Kinney had the wet and muddy masses moving. Sunday was the most stacked day with Courtney Barnett’s energetic rock, Jamie XX smoothly deconstructing his tracks, PC Music label head AG Cook’s raucous pop, Todd Terje’s live band space disco journey, and finally Chance the Rapper’s nonstop party to shut the festival down.

Here is a set of 20 of our favorite performance photos of the weekend, courtesy of photographer Mitchell Davis.
