New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s second weekend continued on Saturday following Jazz Fest’s affectionately-known “Locals Thursday” and a Friday lineup featuring headlining spots from BeckSheryl Crow, and LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip.

On Saturday, the Jazz Fest fairgrounds saw performances from AerosmithCage The ElephantThe RevivalistsJohn DeaconDumpstaphunkKermit RuffinsBetter Than EzraThe Lost Bayou RamblersCorey Henry & Treme FunktetThe Lee BoysCowboy MouthBoyfriend, Jupiter & Okwess, Astral ProjectPigeon Town SteppersBig Chief Bo Dollis Jr. & The Wild Magnolias, and a slew of other local and national acts.

If you’re up for one more late night in New Orleans, Live For Live Music has a pair of incredible tribute shows on tap for this evening, Sunday, May 6th, at Maison. At 10pm is a very special Herbie Hancock Tribute featuring Joey Porter and Garrett Sayers [The Motet], Ryan Zoidis [Lettuce], and Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth [Snarky Puppy]. Later, at 2am, members of The Motet, Turkuaz, Snarky Puppy, the Main Squeeze and more will pay tribute to Prince with the Purple Parth.
