Adam Deitch is giving fans a mid-week boost as the versatile drummer has independently released his Age of Imperfection EP via his Golden Wolf Records label.

The nine-track set was produced by Deitch and mastered by Gramatik, and includes his previously-shared “Space Dust” single. Age of Imperfection, which stretches out to a 37-minute runtime, also acts as the first full-length release from the drummer since the Adam Deitch Quartet released their debut album in April 2019.

“We are living in a time where people crave art that truly touches their soul and provides a sense of peace and empowerment,” Deitch said in a statement with Wednesday’s arrival of his new EP. “‘Age of Imperfection’ has that grit, with real emotion and zero gloss while conveying a message of warmth through the medium of Hip-Hop fueled psychedelia.”
