Adam Deitch is giving fans a mid-week boost as the versatile drummer has independently released his Age of Imperfection EP via his Golden Wolf Records label.
The nine-track set was produced by Deitch and mastered by Gramatik, and includes his previously-shared “Space Dust” single. Age of Imperfection, which stretches out to a 37-minute runtime, also acts as the first full-length release from the drummer since the Adam Deitch Quartet released their debut album in April 2019.
“We are living in a time where people crave art that truly touches their soul and provides a sense of peace and empowerment,” Deitch said in a statement with Wednesday’s arrival of his new EP. “‘Age of Imperfection’ has that grit, with real emotion and zero gloss while conveying a message of warmth through the medium of Hip-Hop fueled psychedelia.”
Age of Imperfection is now available for fans to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube, in addition to Deitch’s official website. Listen to the new album in full via the Spotify player below.

Earlier this week, Deich announced that he along with Eric “Benny” Bloom (Lettuce), Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic), Borham Lee (Break Science), and Hunter Roberts will all host a performance on the patio of Cervantes’ Other Side in Denver, CO on Saturday, August 29th, marking a highly-awaited return of live music after months of drive-in and virtual-only events in North America.
