Live Dead & Brothers, an all-star tribute to the Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band, has partnered with nugs to livestream their spring tour-closing run at Mill Valley, CA’s Sweetwater Music Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, June 25th and 26th. The Live Dead & Brothers Sweetwater Music Hall livestream, due to begin at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET on both nights, is available to view for no additional cost for nugs All Access subscribers [tune in].
The band lineup for this tour includes a mix of ABB/GD kin, affiliates, and disciples including Berry Duane Oakley (bass), son of late Allman Brothers Band bassist Berry Oakley; Mark Karan, the guitarist known for his work with post-Garcia Dead offshoots The Other Ones and RatDog; Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh & Friends, Communion) on keys; Pete Lavezzoli (Jazz is Dead) on drums; and very special guest/beloved guitarist Steve Kimock on slide.
Not a nugs subscriber yet? There’s no better time to get started: From now through June 29th, new users can subscribe to nugs All Access for just $5 per month for four months, as opposed to the usual $19.99 monthly rate. That gives you four months of prime summer tour and festival livestreams—including Thursday’s —for less than the price of a beer at Goose‘s upcoming Madison Square Garden headlining debut (which, by the way, will also be livestreamed on nugs and the new nugs Roku app as an exclusive for nugs All Access subscribers).
