On Sunday, the NFL tapped guitarist Anders Osborne and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore to perform the National Anthem ahead of the New Orleans Saints‘ playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The duet performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” from the stage at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s aired on television just prior to the start of the game, which took place at the nearby Mercedes-Benz Superdome. While the Saints failed to beat Tom Brady‘s Buccaneers to move forward in the playoffs, fans were at least treated to an electrifying rendition of the patriotic anthem heading into inauguration week from two talented musicians.
