Lauded singer, songwriter, bandleader, and pianist Ben Folds has announced the In Actual Person Live For Real Tour, a lengthy run of 2021 concerts set to mark his first in-person performances since before the pandemic.

The Ben Folds In Actual Person Live For Real Tour includes a mix of solo piano and orchestral shows. See the list below for information regarding which type of show will take place on each of the newly announced dates.
The tour will kick off in York, PA on August 27th with a solo piano performance and continue through the month of September with shows in Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, and Illinois.
On October 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, Folds will take his In Actual Person Live For Real tour to Dallas, TX for a three-night run with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
The solo performances will pick back up in early November for a trek through the Carolinas followed by an orchestral show in Portland, OR with the Oregon Symphony on November 10th.
Following another solo stop in Indiana on 11/12, Folds will round out his In Actual Person tour with a final orchestral performance in Atlanta, GA with the Atlanta Symphony (11/14) and solo shows in Washington, D.C. and Cincinnati, OH.
Folds has been in isolation in Australia since February 2020, where he was on tour when COVID-19 shut down international travel and touring operations. Folds kept busy while in Australia, launching his Lightning Bugs podcast series, participating in livestreams like Georgia Comes Alive, writing new music, and preparing for the launch of a new TV series.
