Earlier this summer, tragedy struck when Troy Goode passed away in police custody following a Widespread Panic performance in Mississippi. Goode, 30, left behind a wife and child, and the family has been trying to raise money for any and all expenses in the wake of this unthinkable event.

After all of this, Colorado band The Dyrty Byrds are hosting a benefit concert to this fundraising effort. All proceeds will benefit the Goode People organization, and the event will also include a silent auction featuring artwork from Widespread Panic and Hard Working Americans, as well as concert tickets and more. The benefit will go down this Sunday, September 13th.

Details about the concert can be found here. You can also choose to donate to the family directly through their YouCaring page.
