Following a pair of triumphant and exciting sold-out performances at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl this past weekend, Billy Strings announced on Wednesday that he and his eponymous band will return to the NYC area for two nights at The Capitol Theatre early next year.

Strings will make his headlining debut at the Port Chester, NY music theater on January 17th–18th. The two shows at the historic venue will be the first performances of the new year for Strings, who made huge strides in 2019 with the release of a new studio album, Home, and notable sit-ins alongside artists like Eric Krasno and Widespread Panic.

Prior to that, Strings and his band will close out 2019 with a three-night New Year’s run at Detroit, MI’s Majestic Theater on December 27th–28th and a performance at The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI on December 31st.
