Up-and-coming bluegrass phenom William Apostol—better known as Billy Strings—has announced a 12-date 2020 winter tour.
Billy String’s 2020 winter tour begins with a show at Huntsville, AL’s Mars Music Hall on January 23rd and ends with a pair of performances at Steamboat Springs, CO’s WinterWonderGrass on February 21st and 23rd. The tour will also see Strings and his band make stops at New Orleans, LA’s Tipitina’s (1/24); Oxford, MS’s Lyric Theater (1/25); Jackson, MS’s Duling Hall (1/26); Tuscon, AZ’s Gem & Jam Festival (2/2); Lexington, KY’s Manchester Music Hall (2/6); and Louisville, KY’s Headliners Music Hall (2/7 & 2/8). Prior to Strings’ tour-closing performances in Steamboat, Billy and his band will offer support to Umphrey’s McGee at Asheville, NC’s U.S. Cellular Center on February 14th and 15th.
Tickets for the newly announced headlining shows go on sale this Monday, November 4th at 10 a.m. (CST).
