Organizers for Blue Ox Music Festival have shared details on the participating artists for this weekend’s “Live From The Pines” virtual event to feature live performances from the Whispering Pines Campground in Eau Claire, WI in addition to sets from home. As previously announced, the virtual festival will take place this weekend (June 12th-13th) with broadcasts set to air from 1 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. CT on both days.

Pert Near Sandstone will perform on both nights from a stage at the campground, while artists including Sam Bush, Warren Haynes, Del McCoury, Charlie Parr, The Travelin’ McCourys, Molly Tuttle, Lillie Mae, Them Coulee Boys, Kind Country, Sunny War, Nickel & Rose, and David Huckfelt + Adam Greuel will perform from their respective home locations. This year’s Blue Ox Music Festival was initially scheduled to take place on June 11th–13th with performances from Gov’t Mule, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band, and more.

Additionally, Henhouse Prowlers will present their workshops as part of their “Bluegrass Ambassadors” nonprofit arm which will feature stories from the band’s work abroad while educating viewers on how to play music from Kenya. Yogi Meggan Riley and multi-instrumentalist Mike McGuigan will host a 45-minute virtual yoga and sound healing session in hopes of providing fans at home with a few moments of peace and liberation from these extraordinarily stressful times.

The virtual event will be free to watch, but fans are encouraged to donate what they can for money to benefit the participating artists in addition to the Cleghorn Lion’s Club, National T.T.T. Society, CVTC Radiology Department, and Feed My People Food Bank. The Live from the Pines webcasts for both days will air on the festival’s YouTube and Facebook pages, and can be viewed via the video players below.
