Breakaway Music Festival has announced its dates for 2020, along with an expanded list of six locations for this year’s edition of the multi-city festival.
This year, Breakaway will travel to Columbus, OH (8/28-29); Grand Rapids, MI (8/28-29); Charlotte, NC (9/11-12); Washington, D.C. (9/25-26); Nashville, TN (10/9-10); and San Diego, CA (11/13-14). The events in Washington and San Diego mark the first time the festival is setting up shop in the two popular concert markets.
While there has been no lineup announcement yet, past editions of the festival have included hip-hop and mainstream artists including Kendrick Lamar, Kascade, Halsey, Khalid, and Wiz Khalifa.
“Our mission has always been to provide real fans with a true music festival experience, at a price they can actually afford,” Breakaway co-founder Adam Lynn said in a statement to go with Thursday’s announcement. “We’re thrilled to bring Breakaway back for 2020 and even more so to expand our presence into the San Diego and Washington D.C. markets. Stay tuned for lineups and programming in the next couple of months.”
The festival also announced a new partnership with the club hospitality brand Drai’s Las Vegas to fulfill VIP accommodations in each city. The new VIP experience at Breakaway promises to deliver the same luxury amenities available at the company’s Beachclub and nightclubs in Las Vegas and Dubai.
Tickets for Breakaway go on sale on Monday, February 24th at 10 a.m. ET. Visit the festival’s website for more information.
