As Rolling Stone points out, Chicago and Beach Boys teamed up for the Beachgo tour in summer 1975. This will mark the Beach Boys’ chief songwriter’s first solo excursion with the Illinois outfit, as he is joined onstage by Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine as well as Blondie Chaplin who was in the band from 1972–1973.
Chicago is currently led by founding keyboardist/singer Robert Lamm. The horn section also hosts original members Lee Loughnane and James Pankow.
