Brian Wilson was the featured remote musical guest on Thursday’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The former Beach Boys member delivered solo piano renditions of “God Only Knows” from 1966’s Pet Sounds and “Love And Mercy” from his 1988 solo album as part of the late-night show’s “Play At Home” remote performance series.
The 77-year-old musician shared heartfelt messages of, “I just want you guys to know that we’re all in this together” and “I love you all, love and mercy to you all” following the performance of “God Only Knows”.
