Cincinnati Music Festival will return to Ohio in 2022 after two pandemic-induced years off. CMF will take place at Paul Brown Stadium on July 21st–23rd with a lineup topped by Janet Jackson and Charlie Wilson.

On Thursday, July 21st, the newly-constructed Andrew J. Brady Music Center next to the stadium will play host to the kick-off party with a performance from BJ The Chicago Kid. Festival organizers will announce additional artists for night one at a later date.

The R&B festival will continue on Friday with headliner Charlie Wilson joined by an undercard consisting of Anthony Hamilton, Tony! Toni! Tone!, Jonathan Butler, and more. Finally, Janet Jackson will close out the festivities on Saturday night with The O’Jays, Tank, After 7, and Kirk Whalum performing alongside her.

“We are excited to be back, bringing the best acts back to Cincinnati for the 2022 Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G,” said festival producer Joe Santangelo in a press release. “We will abide by any federal, local and state health guidelines that might be in place at that time, as our priority is to keep everyone safe. We will release more information as we get closer to the dates.”
