Circles Around The Sun and Mikaela Davis discover the wonders of nature in a dreamy new video for their single, “After Sunrise”, which is set to appear on their upcoming collaborative album of the same name.
The song is a cover of a tune by Brazilian composer Sergio Mendes, and it is CATS’ first track to feature vocals. The lyrics? “La la la la la la la la la la la.”
After Sunrise is due out April 5th via Kill Rock Stars and on vinyl via Jealous Butcher Records. The vinyl will be available ahead of the release date exclusively at merch booths on the upcoming Circles Around The Sun x Mikaela Davis & Southern Star tour, which kicks off at the end of February.
Davis previously collaborated with Circles Around The Sun on the title track to the band’s latest album, Language. In the run-up to the release, she and her band joined CATS on tour as support, and she would often sit in on “Language” during the group’s set.
