Circles Around The Sun teamed up with harpist Mikaela Davis for the band’s latest single, “Language”. The instrumental quartet teased that “Language” is the first single from an album set to arrive “later this summer”.

“Language” serves as Circles Around The Sun’s first studio recording with guitarist John Lee Shannon. Alongside Adam MacDougall (keyboards), Mark Levy (drums), and Dan Horne (bass), the band pursues the dance-forward, disco-jam sound it has leaned into since Shannon’s addition last August. While still keeping up the beat, the expansive, seven-minute track still features plenty of breakdowns for psychedelic trances. Shannon sports a central riff that feels like the band will break into Average White Band‘s “Pick Up The Pieces” at any moment.
