Color Red has revealed the albums that will be included in the second box set as part of the label’s Rare Sounds vinyl club.

Curated by label head Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds) the Rare Sounds Box #2 will come with German funk pioneers The Poets of Rhythm‘s 1993 debut album Practice What You Preach, The Three DeucesKeep On It (Live at the Yardbird Suite) (Roberts’ 1996 debut full-length release), and Los Angeles-based funk/soul duo Breakestra‘s 2002 album Live Mix Part 1. The latter two have never been released on vinyl until now.

Additionally, Rare Sounds Charter members will have the option to purchase an early vinyl pressing of W.R.D. Trio‘s forthcoming album The Hit. Comprised of Roberts, pianist Robert Walter, and drummer Adam Deitch, the band’s full-length album is scheduled for a wide release later this year.
