Brothers Damian “Jr Gong” Marley and Stephen “Ragga” Marley have announced a joint tour, the Traffic Jam Tour, set to cruise through North America in February and March.
The 18-date tour will feature the brothers’ first-ever joint presentation of a seamless, curated set comprised of songs from their respective catalogs and a medley of reggae classics by their father Bob Marley. Set to kick off on February 16th, the trek includes stops in Las Vegas, NV; Seattle, WA; Vancouver, BC; Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; Toronto, ON; and more, plus three festival appearances at CaliVibes Fest, Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival, and Reggae Rise Up Florida. The tour will conclude on March 30th at Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL.
Tickets for the Traffic Jam Tour featuring Damian “Jr Gong” Marley and Stephen “Ragga” Marley will be available via various presales beginning Thursday, December 14th. Damian and Stephen Marley have collaborated on several timeless compositions of the years, including the Grammy-winning reggae classic “Welcome To Jamrock”, “Medication”, “Grown & Sexy”, “All Night”, “It Was Written”, and the tour’s namesake, “Traffic Jam”. They recently came together on Stephen’s album Old Soul, which features Damian alongside a star-studded lineup of special guests from Eric Clapton, Bob Weir, and Jack Johnson to Ziggy Marley, Buju Banton, and Slightly Stoopid.
