The elements were in alignment when Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country hit the stage at WinterWonderGrass earlier this month, resulting in an unforgettable moment as the band and audience rejoiced to “Dance In The Desert” during a fierce blizzard.
Donato has spent the first part of 2024 touring hard, battling blizzards and overcoming obstacles to spread cosmic vibrations throughout the land. One of the most memorable performances for the young guitarist and his posse of interstellar outlaws so far was their set at WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat Springs, CO.
In newly shared pro-shot video, the band gets down on their signature jam, “Hi-Country”, before transitioning to their electronic-influenced dance tune, “Dance In The Desert”. As if anticipating the revelry about to begin, the snow picks up just in time to create a magical moment those present won’t soon forget.
“I think we had the most geographically ironic song of the year at [WinterWonderGrass]…” Donato joked in a social media post with a video of the snowy jam.

The band is currently on tour with upcoming shows and festival appearances around the country. Next month, they will perform at Live For Live Music‘s Daze Between New Orleans alongside Lettuce, Gov’t Mule, Galactic, Dogs In A Pile, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, and many more.
