Daze Between New Orleans has revealed the artist lineup and daily schedule for its 2024 event, set to return to Faubourg Brewery in New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, April 30th and Wednesday, May 1st. The third annual edition of the event, named for the “Daze Between” the two weekends of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival when the Fair Grounds go quiet but the city remains alive with festive energy, will once again feature performances by an eclectic mix of acts from the Big Easy and beyond on two stages with no overlapping sets [get tickets].
The 2024 edition of the festival—presented by Live For Live Music, GMP Live, Purple Hat Productions, Dayglo Presents, and Rose Tours—will feature guest-filled headlining sets by far-reaching funk sextet Lettuce (4/30) and enduring blues-rock juggernaut Gov’t Mule (5/1). Both Lettuce and Gov’t Mule will welcome legendary jazz fusion guitarist and familiar collaborator John Scofield during their respective performances. In addition to Scofield, the long list of guests due to join Warren Haynes and his Gov’t Mule bandmates for the festival’s big finale on Wednesday, May 1st includes Chuck Leavell (The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers Band), Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), Karl Denson (The Rolling Stones, KDTU), Daniel Donato (Cosmic Country, Trouble No More), and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
Prior to Lettuce featuring John Scofield on Tuesday, April 30th (7:45 p.m.– 9:45 p.m.), attendees will be treated to performances by Eric Krasno and Stanton Moore‘s Krasno/Moore Project (6:30 p.m.–7:45 p.m.), Crescent City staple The Dirty Dozen Brass Band (5:15 p.m.–6:15 p.m.), fast-rising jam quintet Dogs In A Pile (4:15 p.m.–5:15 p.m.), versatile funk-rock party outfit Cool Cool Cool (3:00 p.m.–4:15 p.m.), and Mardi Gras Indian funk group The Rumble featuring Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. (2:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.).
Wednesday, May 1st’s Gov’t Mule blowout (7:15 p.m.–10:00 p.m.) will follow a day of performances by veteran soul-rock ensemble Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe (6:00 p.m.–7:15 p.m.), contemporary NOLA funk luminaries Galactic featuring Jelly Joseph (4:45 p.m.–6:00 p.m.), roadhouse space explorers Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country (3:30 p.m.–4:45 p.m.), bassist Karina Rykman and her eponymous psych-rock power trio (2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.), and local fan-favorite rock quartet The Iceman Special (1:30 p.m.–2:30 p.m.).

Faubourg Brewery, the home of Daze Between New Orleans, offers an oasis for music fans and beer-lovers in New Orleans East. Festival attendees will be able to enjoy the facility’s picturesque grounds and extensive craft beer taproom in addition to a selection of local art vendors and food trucks.
As always, a portion of all proceeds from Daze Between New Orleans 2024 will benefit New Orleans-based nonprofits via Rex Foundation, the Grateful Dead-founded nonprofit organization that supports grassroots causes pertaining to the arts, sciences, education, environment, indigenous peoples, and social justice. Funds will be raised through ticket sales and onsite initiatives including an auction featuring coveted items and experiences from artists on the lineup, NOLA- and Grateful Dead-themed artwork, memorabilia, and more.
Single-day and two-day passes for Daze Between New Orleans 2024, as well as a variety of VIP options, are on sale now via the festival website. VIP tickets include expedited VIP entry; access to exclusive VIP bars, bathrooms, and viewing area; and a VIP parking pass.
