Experimental electronic duo-turned-trio Darkside will return to North America next year for its first tour since 2014. The reactivated project led by Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington with newly added drummer Tlacael Esparza also shared a new single, “Graucha Max”, to accompany the 15-show tour announcement.

Darkside’s 2025 North American tour will kick off on March 13th at The Salt Shed in Chicago and run through April 16th when it wraps at Denver’s Mission Ballroom. Along the way, the trio will perform at mid-sized venues in Detroit (3/14), Boston (3/18), New York City (3/21), Nashville (3/25), Seattle (4/6), Salt Lake City (4/15), and more, including Canadian dates in Toronto (3/15), Montreal (3/16), and Vancouver (4/5).

A pre-sale for tickets to the Darkside North American tour begins Tuesday, October 22nd at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the general on-sale Friday at 10 a.m. local. Visit the band’s website for tickets and see below for a full list of tour dates. The band is currently touring Europe into early November.

“Graucha Max” follows last year’s expanded rerelease of Psychic and marks Darkside’s first new release since 2022 standalone single “Ecdysis!” and the group’s first as a trio. The buzzy industrial drone is recognizable as Darkside, but more structured and rhythmic than some of the group’s freer experimentations. Esparaza is put to good use on the track, particularly on a frenetic drum break that opens up into some engaging bass music at the end. The band’s last full-length album Spiral arrived in 2021 not long after Jarr and Harrington reinstated the project following a six-year hiatus.
