David Shaw celebrated the release of his self-titled debut solo album on Friday via his own imprint Yokoko Records in partnership with C3 RecordsThe Revivalists frontman is set to continue the celebration tonight, May 7th with the first in a series of five livestream performances.

Featuring previously released singles “Got Me Feeling Good”, “Heavy Soul”, “Shivers”, “Shaken“, and “Promised Land“, Shaw had already garnered over three million streams ahead of David Shaw‘s release. The platinum-selling singer, songwriter, and producer recruited four-time Grammy-winning producer Jack Splash (Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, Solange, St Paul and The Broken Bones) to craft a product that showcases Shaw as an individual, rather than just the frontman of a rock band.
