Widespread Panic closed out the Ride Festival in Telluride, CO with an amazing performance last night, bringing out a handful of guests throughout a tremendous festival-closing performance. After the previous night featured a sit-in from guitar legend Warren Haynes, the band got some help from a number of luminaries throughout the night.
After a few songs into the set, Luther and Cody Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars joined in for two songs, “Ride High” and “Tail Dragger”. Later on, another guitar virtuoso, Eric McFadden, aided the group on the final two numbers of the set, “Arleen” and “Red Hot Mama”. WSP then closed out with a two-song encore of “Honky Red” and “City of Dreams”.
The band is firing on all cylinders as they gear up for their first album release in five years, Street Dogs.
