Earlier this month, Dinosaur Jr. announced optimistic plans to embark on a lengthy North American tour scheduled for the coming fall months and continuing into early 2022. The upcoming run of dates aligns with the forthcoming release of the band’s new Kurt Vile-produced studio album, Sweep It Into Space, due out April 23rd via Jagjaguwar.
On Wednesday the band added to that schedule with to two more shows set for this spring at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, NH on May 22nd, and the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, CT on May 23rd. Both outdoor shows will feature pod seating audience arrangements.
Earlier this year guitarist J. Mascis released three separate solo acoustic performances captured at various points throughout the 1990s on a solo compilation, Fed Up And Feeling Strange – Live And In Person 1993-1998.
