EDM superstar Diplo has released the deluxe edition of his debut country album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Snake Oil, which includes previously unreleased collaborations with Texas soul crooner Leon Bridges and rising Nashville star Ernest.
The Leon Bridges collab, “Horizon”, channels the smokey, barroom aesthetic often associated with country music as Bridges sings and strums an acoustic guitar. While Diplo—real name Thomas Wesley Pentz—plays the part of the bartender in the clip, his distinct sonics quickly come into play when the dance music-style drums enter the fold.
