NBA Basketball Hall of Famer and unlikely EDM upstart Shaquille O’Neal, who has made a (new) name for himself throwing down hardcore festival sets as DJ Diesel, will drop his debut album, entitled GORILLA WARFARE, on August 18th.

Shaq previewed the album, which includes ten new tracks made in collaboration with some of bass music’s top producers, earlier this year with the neck-spraining single”BANG YOUR HEAD” featuring Hairitage. The pair debuted the track last year when Shaq surprised the crowd at a DJ Diesel audience by brought out Hairitage to in San Marcos.

The album also includes subsequently released singles “NO FEAR” featuring Jessica Audiffred and “HEAT” featuring Crankdat. Other collaborators featured on the album include Celo, VRG, Soltan, Kompany, TRXGGX, Rated R, and Chassi.

Shaq will host his first large-scale bass music festival, Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival, on September 16th at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, TX, just outside of Dallas.
