Doom Flamingo closed out 2023 with shows in three new cities with support from and collaborations with One Time Weekend and lespecial.
The synthwave sextet kicked off the weekend on Thursday at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA outside Philadelphia before continuing to Bridgeport, CT’s Park City Music Hall. Both shows featured support from One Time Weekend and substitute bassist Tim Khayat, who filled in for Ryan Stasik. Friday’s show saw Doom Flamingo vocalist Kanika Moore join One Time Weekend for an unforgettable cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “Dazed and Confused”.
The run then culminated on Saturday at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club, where Doom Flamingo was joined by lespecial. Kanika Moore once again made a guest appearance during the opening set, sitting in on a cover of Tool‘s “46 & 2”.
