Dopapod will head out on the road for a spring and summer tour featuring a mix of festival dates, headlining shows, and “Other random places in between.” The mix of new and previously announced dates will carry the progtronic quartet from May through mid-July.
The tour kicks off with a pair of weekend runs, starting in Belle Vernon, PA (5/16) after which Dopapod will truck up to Rochester, NY for a doubleheader on May 18th. After playing a free show at the Rochester Lilac Festival, Dopapod will also play the official festival afterparty at Essex. The band has more official afterparty duties the following weekend with a Widespread Panic after-show in Memphis, TN (5/24), followed by a set at the inaugural CaveJam at The Caverns in Pelham, TN (5/25), and finally a show in Black Mountain just outside Asheville, NC (5/26).
In June, Dopapod will perform at Northlands Music & Arts Festival in Swanzey, NH (6/15) as well as shows in Saranac Lake, NY (6/21) and Jay, VT (6/22). Finally, the last leg of the band’s tour will take them along the East Coast for appearances in Portland, ME (7/12), Lake George, NY for Rock The Dock (7/13), Waynesboro, VA (7/16), Wilmington, NC (7/17), and Virginia Beach, VA (7/18), before wrapping at Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, NY (7/20). On the band’s tour poster, there is a date blurred out on 7/14 that appears to say Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, CT.
