[UPDATE]: Northlands Music & Arts Festival bolstered its 2024 lineup on Wednesday with the addition of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Big Something, and Cool Cool Cool. These acts join a bill already topped by Goose (two sets), Greensky Bluegrass (two sets), and moe., who are set to headline the festival June 14th and 15th in Swanzey, NH.
PPPP will make their return to Northlands Festival, which is gearing up for its third annual installment. Big Something and Cool Cool Cool will log their debuts, with the festival appearance coming on the heels of the latter eight-piece funk ensemble’s first-ever headlining tour.
“We’re so excited to welcome Pigeons back to Swanzey for another year, as well as their amazing community of fans,” Northlands co-founder Seth McNally said. “Big Something and Cool Cool Cool are putting together special sets for their inaugural appearances- fans, new and old, will love it. As always, we are proud to showcase rising stars in the scene on the Camp Stage. Stay tuned.”
The rest of the previously announced 2024 Northlands lineup also includes funk supergroup Eric Krasno & Friends, Twiddle frontman Mihali, mandolin maven Sierra Hull, progtronic unit Dopapod, deep-funk jam band Spafford, and many more. Doom Flamingo vocalist Kanika Moore will serve as artist-at-large, with Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman acting as special guests. Returning to Northlands, Nikki Glaspie will once again round up her all-star group of Super Sonic Shorties for the all-female funk get-down.
These artists will perform back-to-back sets on the festival’s two adjacent stages ensuring no overlapping performances and nonstop music. Over in the campgrounds, more than 15 emerging regional acts will make their mark on the Campground Stage, with that lineup coming in February 2024.

[11/29/23]: Northlands Music & Arts Festival has announced the initial artist lineup for its third annual event, due to return to Swanzey, NH on June 14th and 15th, 2024.
Headliners Goose, Greensky Bluegrass, and moe. will top an eclectic cross-section of improv-oriented acts including Eric Krasno & Friends, Mihali, Sierra Hull, Dopapod, Spafford, TAUK, Super Sonic Shorties, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Magic Beans, The Psycodelics, and artist-at-large Kanika Moore (Doom Flamingo) in addition to special guests Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, and Nikki Glaspie. Additional acts are due to be added as the festival approaches.
The 2024 edition of Northlands will once again feature non-stop music on two adjacent stages facing the concert grounds. Notable updates in 2024 include enhanced VIP and Glamping options, VIP access to the Campground Stage, and additional environment sustainability initiatives.
Tickets for Northlands Music & Arts Festival 2024 go on sale beginning Friday, December 1st at 12:00 p.m. ET via the festival website.
