Flying Lotus has teamed up with veteran filmmaker Winston Hacking to produce a psychedelic visual journey for “Remind U”, one of the instrumental tracks that appeared on his guest-fulled 2019 album, Flamagra.
The motion graphics-inspired video launches viewers into space with a mix of trippy retro images which, when combined together, give the track an extra boost in creative psychedelia. The instrumental’s dreamy production meshes perfectly with the cosmic visual journey, which the announcement via press releases describes as a “stream of consciousness video collage.”
The new visual for “Remind U” marks the second time Flying Lotus and Hacking have teamed up for a music video, following the video for “Post Requisite” shared in November 2017 which featured similar imagery. Watch the new video for “Remind U” below.
