Back in late July, a video of 1,000 Italian musicians performing the Foo Fighters’ hit, “Learn To Fly”, went viral across the Internet. The musicians banded together for a noble cause: getting the Foo Fighters to perform in their hometown of Cesesna, Italy.

Naturally, Dave Grohl responded to the video, agreeing to honor the 1,000-person request. Not only that, but Grohl responded in his best broken Italian, saying that the video was beautiful and promising a performance in the Italian city.

Today, Grohl and company made good on their word to perform in Cesesna. The band scheduled a performance at the Carisport venue in Cesesna, to be held this November 3rd. Details about the show can be found here, though the page is most definitely in Italian. The date comes in the middle of an extensive European tour, kicking off a full leg of touring that includes performances in Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and more!

Well done, Dave. Well done.
