Foo Fighters announced today that they will make an appearance in a tiny record shop near Dave Grohl Alley in Ohio on Record Store Day. Grohl was previously appointed as the first ever Record Store Day ambassador.

The band will play at Record Connection in Niles, Ohio this Saturday, 4/18 at noon. From their website:

They’ll also be releasing a four-track 10-inch called ‘Songs From The Laundry Room’ for the occasion, which was recorded at Barrett Jones’ Laundry Room Studios in Seattle in the 90s. The new release features early versions of ‘Alone + Easy Target’ and ‘Big Me’ as well as an unreleased track, ‘Empty Handed’.
Grohl will perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony that evening.
