Fruition will take over Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom and The Other Side in Denver, CO with a gang of friends and special guests to celebrate the venue’s 20th anniversary on January 27th and 28th. The two-night event will mark Fruition’s first headline performances of 2023, as well as the group’s first shows as a five-piece following an acoustic trio run where singers Jay Cobb Anderson, Kellen Asebroek, and Mimi Naja will perform sans bassist Jeff Leonard and drummer Tyler Thompson as the rhythm section duo takes paternity leave.
Among the featured performers are TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, Handmade Moments, Rainbow Girls, Mama Magnolia, and John R. Miller, who will perform both nights. Friday will include a late-night set by The Texas Gentlemen, followed on Saturday by Dave Watts‘ (of the Motet) “Zepp is Funk” Led Zeppelin tribute birthday set featuring members of The Motet, The String Cheese Incident, Trey Anastasio Band, JJ Grey & Mofro, and Andy Frasco & The U.N. Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman of Trey Anastasio Band will serve as artists-at-large both nights.
Tickets for both nights of Fruition & Friends at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom will go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 4th at 10:00 a.m. MT via the band’s website.
Fruition also recently announced the first-ever pressing of the band’s classic album Just One Of Them Nights, which will be available at retail on December 9th and at shows as soon as possible. Pre-order the 180g translucent green first pressing here.
