On Wednesday night, percussion-centric funk fusion outfit Ghost-Note offered up a performance at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl as part of their extensive 2019 world tour.

The band—headed by Snarky Puppy’s multiple Grammy-winning percussion duo of Robert Sput Searight and Nate Werth along with bassist/guitarist MonoNeon (Prince), keyboardist Dominique Xavier Taplin (Prince, Toto), guitarist Peter Knudsen, and horn/woodwind players Sylvester Onyejiaka (Prince, Quantic) and Jonathan Mones as well as a rotating cast of other world-class players—welcomed teenage guitar phenom Brandon “Taz” Niederauer for a pair of collaborative tunes including “Smack ‘Em”, a song off of Ghost-Note’s 2018 Swagism album which features Taz.
