Hip-hop star T-Pain has canceled his upcoming run of fall tour dates after ticket sales for the planned concerts didn’t sell as strongly as he and promoters had hoped. T-Pain addressed the cancelation in a video shared to his Instagram on Tuesday in which he openly addresses that his team’s rush to get the pre-production finalized didn’t quite pan out.

“Let me just start by saying that my team set up the tour in September,” the singer says at the start of the video. “If you’ve ever set up a monthlong tour before you’d know that that’s not enough time to set up a full tour. Some corners got cut. Production went missing, I wasn’t as hands-on with the planning and things as I should have been because I’ve been busy as hell.”

T-Pain went on to discuss how his team had advised him to lie about the reasonings for canceling the tour or to say he needed more time to put things together and whatnot, but T-Pain is simply too real to just bullsh*t his fans like that. “We f*cked up,” T-Pain concluded. “You can’t hold onto a mistake just ‘cus you spent a long time makin’ it. And that’s just the damn truth.”
