Goose will conclude a year of explosive growth with a two-night New Year’s Eve run at The Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, OH on December 30th and 31st, the band announced.
Goose has developed a dedicated following in the Cincinnati region, having played in nearby Covington, KY 12 times since 2018.
“Cincinnati truly is our home away from home; it’s where we built our first following outside of Connecticut,” multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach explained in a press release. “From the band’s first-ever two-night run in 2018 to a handful of sold-out shows, we’ve shared so many memorable experiences with our amazing Cinci and Covington fans. We haven’t been there since March 2020 and we’re so excited to return. I can’t wait to feel the energy in that room!”
The New Year’s run will cap off a career-defining year for Goose, which included the release of the critically acclaimed Dripfield, inaugural sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, and Sweetwater 420 Festival. The band will also complete a slate of fall tour dates with Trey Anastasio Band and celebrate Goosemas at Broomfield, CO’s 1st Bank Center before landing in Cincinnati.
Initial tickets for Goose’s New Year’s run will be available through a lottery, with a request period running from Tuesday, September 13th at 12 p.m. ET through Wednesday, September 14th at 5 p.m. ET. Lottery winners will be notified via email before a venue presale, running Thursday, September 15th from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. ET.
