Goose has announced a one-off performance at New York, NY’s Radio City Music Hall on Saturday, June 25th. The Connecticut-based jam-rock quintet will play three sets at the landmark, 6,000-capacity theater, including one acoustic and two electric sets.

“Performing at a historic venue like Radio City Music Hall is a dream come true for all of us! I can’t thank our fans enough for getting us here,” said drummer Ben Atkind in a press release.

This stop at Radio City adds to a quickly growing summer show schedule for the band, which already has stops at High Sierra Music Festival and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on the calendar. Before any summer dates get underway, however, Goose will travel across the U.S. for an extensive 2022 winter tour, including a sold-out run in California (1/27–1/30) and the band’s rescheduled Goosemas celebration at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT (2/26).

Initial tickets for Radio City Music Hall will be available through a fan lottery with a request period starting today, January 18th, at 12 p.m. ET through Wednesday, January 19th, at 5 p.m. ET. A venue presale will then run on Thursday, January 20th, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. ET, before a general on-sale this Friday, January 28th, at 10 a.m. ET.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, Goose shared a new single on Tuesday, titled “Borne”. This latest studio output marks the band’s first of 2022 and its first since the release of 2021’s Shenanigans Nite Club.

Arriving with more of an indie vibe than previous singles, “Borne” showcases a different side of the five-piece outfit. Rick Mitarotonda‘s vocals soar valiantly atop the mix throughout the song, which even includes some hints of pedal steel and acoustic guitar.

“Borne is a pretty unfiltered breath of newness; a beginning statement,” said Mitarotonda in a press release. “The song is a declaration to oneself to remember to not overthink things and make them more than they should be. It’s a reminder to try to be honest, and to let our work be what it is.”
