As Goose continues the rollout of its latest studio album, Everything Must Go, the band has announced a mysterious, last-minute show in New York, NY billed as Goose at Luna Luna: Everything Must Go Experience due to take place at the ongoing Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy exhibit at New York’s The Shed on Tuesday, March 11th, will feature an all-improv set by the band and more. Tickets go on sale here beginning today, Tuesday, March 4th, at 2:00 p.m. ET.
The Connecticut-native band was sparing with details in its announcement of the unique show. “For one night only,” a post on social media reads, “we’re bringing an immersive Everything Must Go experience to NYC—inside the surreal world of Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy. All we’re going to say? Expect the unexpected, exclusive first looks and listens, surprises at every corner and a fully improvisational set by the band. And an unforgettable night that you won’t want to miss. … This one’s going to be special.”
Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy is an immersive “art amusement park” currently on display at multi-purpose New York City arts center and event space The Shed. Per the exhibit’s official description, it “invites visitors into a colorful, riotous fun house of carnival attractions by visionary artists of the 20th century.”
The brainchild of artist André Heller, Luna Luna first opened in 1987 in Hamburg, Germany, as an outdoor fairground and art museum. Once the initial exhibition closed, the park’s treasures were forgotten in storage in Texas for 36 years. Recently, they were rediscovered and brought to the States for a showing in Los Angeles in 2023. The Shed’s presentation of the exhibit has been running in its 2,000-capacity McCourt space and other surrounding spaces since November 2024. Featured artists include Jean-Michel Basquiat, Arik Brauer, Salvador Dalí, Sonia Delaunay, Monika GilSing, Keith Haring, André Heller, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, and Kenny Scharf.
