Goose continued its journey up the East Coast on Thursday with a sold-out show at Portland, ME’s Thompson’s Point. The band’s sixth concert in eight days opened with “The Whales” in a fitting tribute to the historic New England port city.
Thursday’s show marked the latest in a week of heavy travel for Goose, who began an Independence Day Weekend run back on Thursday, June 29th at The Peach Music Festival in Scranton, PA. Making a slight westward detour, Goose headlined the final Resonance Music & Arts Festival in Garrettsville, OH with two, two-set performances on June 30th and July 1st. After taking Sunday off, the band hit the Jersey Shore for a two-night stand at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on July 3rd and 4th.
With the Thomspon’s Point gig in the books, Goose is set to play a landmark headlining concert at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in New York tonight, July 7th. After that, the band has a set the following day at Levitate Music & Arts Festival in Marshfield, MA before a well-deserved three-week break.
